Realmente no es un volcán, es un diapiro que hace parte del sistema de diapiros de la costa norte colombiana, tiene aproximadamente 20 a 30 metros de alto pero es muy fácil de subir con la infraestructura que le adaptaron los pobladores del lugar, es muy hermoso pero también hay que tener en cuenta el entorno natural en el cual está que es la ciénega y que vale la pena también visitar y recorrer, es muy rico en aves.

Pues según lo que yo tengo entendido, el volcán no es un volcán en sí, pues no está conectado a flujos magmáticos, sino a presiones de gases subterráneos (como los que se dan en depósitos de petróleo). Las emisiones no son del tipo "fuego fatuo", así que hasta donde se no hay riesgo de explosión alguna y tampoco de intooxicación u otros efectos de inhalar gases. Lo que me gusta es que estando todos cubiertos de lodo es como muy igualitario, y se ve que somos todos iguales :)

Pues según lo que yo tengo entendido, el volcán no es un volcán en sí, pues no está conectado a flujos magmáticos, sino a presiones de gases subterráneos (como los que se dan en depósitos de petróleo). Las emisiones no son del tipo "fuego fatuo", así que hasta donde se no hay riesgo de explosión alguna y tampoco de intooxicación u otros efectos de inhalar gases. Lo que me gusta es que estando todos cubiertos de lodo es como muy igualitario, y se ve que somos todos iguales :)
