I wouldn't trade my 80 series Cruiser for anything, but if you spend enough you can turn plenty of offroaders into beasts. I went with the Toyota because of build quality and reliability. It's never let me down. I wouldn't mind taking an Hummer for a run either.

@hunna122 you pose a good point. the hilux and the fj40 are both excellent. i have ownd my cherokee for only a short while like 5 or so years. i have never really had any ball joint problems. it has its usuall creeks and moans but for 1996 vehicle that has bee lifted 3.5 inches and has 31's i would say its doing fine. i love the FJ40 and the Hilux
