Daniel Mauser seemed like one of those "nerdy kids" who'd get picked on but would accidentally antagonize bullies.

Yes, he saved lives and for that I can applaud him, but there HAD to be a reason why they killed him. I'm sure they knew it was him.

Anyhow, there is a reason I think he might have been a bully too. The columbine kids called him racist remarks for some reason. I don't know why, but I doubt they were truly prejudice towards other races. Maybe the kid was actually a bully and called them "White boy" or "cracker". So he may have been racist too.

In collaboration with Timeslice Films, Rip Curl took on an ambitious bullet-time campaign shoot in Malaysia's Sunway Lagoon Wavepool with lead surfers Mick Fanning, Stephanie Gilmore, Owen Wright and
●I did a similar shoot with 33 cameras horizontal to a large bar. I had all my friends doing different activities at the bar and I fired all 33 cameras at one time. The problem I am having is editing the photos together in a way that gives a smooth transition look similar to this example. Any suggestions on how the photos were edited/ morphed together?

●How to get that 35mm film look: get a 35mm camera. The thing about 35mm film is that it has a special texture/organic look to it that video can't replicate. Don't go for a film look. Go for a cinematic look. Two different things.

I mean, it can always make stuff pop, but if it's difficult to get, sometimes just use it for those two cinematic purposes.

Brian Valente of Red Rock Micro is kind enough to give a demo of various Canon D-SLR rigs at the NAB 2009 show. Some cinematographers and videographers are starting to see the Canon as a solid B camer
●Redrock suck. The screw to tight the rods down is so hard. I bought the full film package and never able to use it. I rather spend a little more on Zacuto but their stuffs is quality.
●I actually own a Canon t3i that I use to film at my school. What I am trying to say is that, A red rock rig is never needed. You can build one of these things on your own if you get creative enough, sure, a mattebox is another story, but you don't NEED a mattebox to make a film.
●If that is your thinking you are incredibly mistaken. 1. Matte Boxes are NEEDED for any type of film work so you can save money on ND and other fiters. 2. You have never filmed with an hdslr is that is what you are thinking, these rigs make the camera like an ENG camera and much more stable. 3. Red Rock gear is very expensive and I agree that it is WAY over priced.... But Camera rigs with these HDSLR ARE ALWAYS a priority.
●The only way this thing makes the 5d into a cinema camera is by looks. All they are doing is making a DSLR look like a top notch professional camera. So if you have money to blow, why not. But I would never put one of these rigs at priority.
●Try Genus, their equipment is fantastic quality until restock and still at a reasonable price compared to Zacuto
