●The one thing I preferred in LTROI is that Eli showed some remorse when she cried after killing. I didn't like the bit in LMI when Abby wants to listen at her wall and yells at her 'dad' to move. She came across as nasty. I think it'd have been better if Abby was 'nice' until she turns. Still prefer LMI though.

●I love this film. I do prefer it to both LTROI movie and the book. I actually don't think it was a good idea by Lindqvist making Eli a little castrated boy vampire, and I'm glad Reeves omitted it in LMI. In LTROI it does hint at it when you see the dress drop over the scar, but it doesn't explain anything more, and we don't get any reaction from Oskar, which is not believable. And plus Moretz is simply breathtaking in LMI.

●I don't for the acting in the original. I doubt we'll be hearing much from that cast while the LMI cast is likely to have better careers. And the castration subplot works great in the book. But there is no time to develop the idea in the movies. One of the flaws of the first film was trying to wedge that idea in with zero development. It only functions as a narrative speedbump.

You are right very few others can play as good as her, she's totally amazing!

Kissin is great. Why talk about the others? Zimerman puts people to sleep. Idil Biret? she's not in the class. Lisitsa's version of this piece is bad, lots of errors, too difficult for her. Lisitsa is good, Jung Lin is pure magic!
