●diesel is far better environmentally, ill be it not like this. the refining process takes less power and has less waste, desiel engines are more fuel efficient per unit of power and diesel exhaust contains less CO2 hell the exhaust of a diesel with urea injection is cleaner then the air in cities like detroit and bejing
●You have to buy an add on for the smoke to blow that thick, we do it on purpose dumb ass.

●@jorkeuh There is a very good post on the MAKE magazine site. I would google MAKE magazine and Ruben's Tube you will find it. Or read all the comments I think there are tips below. Do not make one out of PVC. That was a dumb idea. It produces nasty fumes as it heats.
●I don't really know. I do know you can get reactions at high enough sound pressures. I have been in clubs with big systems and not needed the speakers attached to see effects. But drums also do not produce very pure freqencies. You will likely see the flames move and jump. But it will be difficult to produce a sine curve with out pure frequencies and a speaker. With the right sound pressure and room I imagine you could. Report back what you find! be careful.
●I need to know this in order to proceed to my project. Is it necessary that we require a speaker for the frequencies? :/ what happens if we make some live music right next to it (for example a bit of drumming)? I need a reply asap despite how dumb my question sound.

●Very nice demonstration. unfortuantly, we also used PVC our first attempt. the second was with an aluminum gutter pipe, which is working fabulously. do you have a membrane on the speaker end? we got much better results with one, but our speaker is not the same size as our tube either

●I know... that's what I said. They say their camera is shooting 4,000 frames per second AND they say it's 400 times slower than normal... which is wrong. You basically repeated what I said. You're right, not every camera shoots 30 fps, some shoot 24, some shoot 29. But 30 is considered to be the average. The only way that 4,000 fps 400 times slower than normal would be right is if the normal frame rate is 10 frames per second... but that's not true. thatd mean normal is 3 times faster

●I just did that not 20 minutes after posting that comment, killed a Sentry, two Engie's then airblasted a Soldier's Direct Hit rocket killing him and the Dispenser next to him as they were trying to nest in the sewers of CTF_2fort.
●Hmm, it appears just 20 minutes after making that comment I accidentally airblasted a Sentry's rockets into itself killing it and the two Engie's behind it then airblasted a Direct Hit rocket from the Soldier who was standing next to the Dispenser and killed him and the Dispenser clearing the whole sewer of enemies. C: I think Sentry rockets are a bit harder to hit because you get shot around while there are rockets flying at you. Also, I don't blame you, sometimes rockets lag right into you. D:
●Oddly enough, I have the opposite situation - DH/LL rockets I airblast too late most of the time, and sentry rockets I can airblast every time lol, according to the tf wiki, sentry rockets travel a bit slower than normal rockets
●Yes you can AB sentry rockets i have seen someone destroy a sentry that way, through baiting the sentry twice.

●I never had a problem before airblasting Direct Hit rockets or Liberty Launcher rockets for that matter, even at close range, it's mostly about anticipating, I just killed a Soldier using a DH by landing on him and using airblast RIGHT as he fired, it shot straight to the ground and killed him, only hurt me 30HP. Same with arrows also pretty easy to AB if you time the Sniper's shot then wait for his animation to play. Also, is it possible to AB Sentry rockets? I've tried and fails every time.
●ah ha, problem is, lag compensation *doesn't* apply to projectiles i.e. rockets, grenades, stickies, anything that isn't a bullet. The direct hit always had 80% speed, so as a pyro, you'd have to airblast earlier than when you'd think to airblast. You can see this happen a lot in tf dodgeball, a lot of novices and even a few veterans go what i airblasted that when the rocket is at an insane speed.
●The server I played in that day was pretty messed up, the hit detection was way off and to top it off, anyone with really high ping had unstoppable rockets, they'd glitch right to me and bam, dead. I also don't remember the Direct Hit having 80% Projectile Speed, I could be wrong but I stopped using it because it was pretty much useless, then after the newest update every Soldier was using it and it's extremely hard to airblast them and again specially if the person firing at you has bad ping.:/
