The wi-fi should have came when they introduced xbox360 in the first place like PS3 and Wii. Some of the old existing problems still exist especially the disc drive that scratches disc and making very unnerving noises. Nope all xbox360 slim does is get people to buy a new console with a cheap wireless card inside it.
●there is no cheaper way to get more unless you succumb to MS money grabbing HDDs. They made so that custom HDDs you buy will not work, plus its a flash drive meaning they can hard code the systems. This is why a good feature of PS3 is to have laptop sata drives. Easy replacement.

●I think the newer AMD cpu's are much better. This Phenom II X4 I am using now idles at around 30-35C (sometimes goes up to 37C, depends on temperature in the room), and I've never seen it go above 50C under heavy load. I am using a pretty good cooler on it tho... Cooler Master something-or-other, big upright heatsink w/ copper heatpipes. I think AMD's newer CPU's also have a failsafe on em, so they shut off if they get too hot. But yeah, AMD's old CPU's ran extremely hot and had no failsafe.
