●yeah, i think its really common to find these in the 2nd hand dealership, people need to know what theyre getting into, i found out it drinks more fuel than an E63 amg, despite having four seats and a boot, i would say this is much more of a track day/weekend car.. its ridiculously cheap to buy but its hard to maintain, still a great car tho

●I replied to this comment only. Besides, it wasen't an attack or anything bro. The lag issue is not usually a problem on the track with proper equipment, tuning and driving skills. As for the boost, they will usually go for as much as the engine can take since the purpose of this car is purely for drag racing. If it blows, they will just replace it. Anyways, no harm dude. My hypothetical engine exhibits more reasonable lag (say 5 seconds). VVT is added to engines with high-flow heads/cams to improve low RPM power.

Think about it like this, you have an engine that makes 600 peak HP without a turbo and 1200 HP with a turbo at max boost. You launch your turbo car from a dead stop with the engine at half throttle hit second gear and floor it. The engine revs up and makes 600 HP, then without warning the turbo kicks in and you suddenly have 1200 HP. At the very least you will have your hands full. Cheers!
