●You still need a heat source to ignite beyond simple compression- After the lighter is removed it is the explosion that will keep the coils lit for future ignition. If it was solely compression then you could restart the engine without the lighter if it is still warm/ hot but that is not the case.

●Hey Squirrel, ( I need your help ) I am the one that left a video response, my clutch bell is grinding againist the rear slipper behind the gear spur, if I try to move the slipper away from the clutch bell it ends up losing contact with the brake nut and pin.. Any advice please, also I notice the clutch are showing alittle I thought that the bell would cover the shoes completly? is that right,.. The engine DXT18 from a duratrax evader not sure what model..
●you're right, i used the tip of an allen key and they slip on actually faster without damage. I'm not knocking Squirell, he does a good job but i'm just saying (i raced lol) If the clutch is new and the bell is clean what else could make it slip?

●If you go 4 then have 2 plastic and 2 alum. Otherwise, I would go for alum and whatever is on stock (3 shoes then go 3)

●Typically 5x10 bearings will go inside. Check your manual though or measure the holes and the shaft. There are some odd ball bells out there but most are 5x10

●You need to use the collet. Not all collets are the same but they should be universal enough. If Nova did not include one then go to your hobby store and find another that will fit.
●I'm having big issues install a losi clutch onto my novarossi engine. The novas crankshaft is bigger than the collet. Do i really need to use the collet? If I stretch the collect with pliers or screwdriver, it will break!
●There are many ways to do the same thing. I just like to keep that out of the way. Sometimes the tool works and others the screw driver helps. Best to keep all options open =)
●Instead of using a screw driver to shim the clutch shoe. Try using just the clutch tool to pry it open enough to get the first lip on the shaft. Then you dont need to worry about the screw driver getting in the way...Just what I do...Each to his own...You are the man Squirrelrod! we truly appreciate all your work!

●Your kit was turned off, radio was turned off, no receiver reception, it was trying to get away from you, etc. The first thing to nitro is that you turn the electronics on the kit and the radio on first, test the electronics and throttle movements, test the failsafe, and then prime and start the engine.
