●The 130 is so amazing. 60 years on, I really feel the Govt should tender a design using it as a baseline: come up with another plane that can offer faster cruise, slower stall, heavier payload, shorter runway roll, more fuel efficient, adaptable to more applications, cutting edge avionics, more durable, etc. It can be done, as all these individual areas have seen tremendous improvement over the decades. We just don't think as imaginatively and are more risk-averse than the generation past...sigh

●It depends on what you mean by "worst" airline. Worst for what? Safety? Comfort? Reliability? I'm sure there are official records for all airlines regarding safety and reliability. Those are objective, measurable qualities. As for "comfort", that is subjective. But, personally Ryanair is the WORST airline I've flown as far as comfort goes. Their seats don't even recline, for Christ's sake!! Even a bus has seats that recline!!!

Like TheD0ffryn wrote, the crash put an end to the plan and judging by how screwed up Operation Eagle Claw ended up being, that may just have been for the best...

●Not really Vertical is it...more of a C130 with Rockets on it. not surprised it crashed were there any actual engineers on this project it looks like the just attached rockets to the airplane. You can't expect a plane who's airframe was designed to land normally to survive a landing of basically falling to the ground after the momentum is stopped and the wings no longer function.

●what was the specific issue with the bank angle at 4:54? The FO says "nice catch" to the guy in the middle shortly after. Whatever it was, it must've been pretty subtle, because the bank angle didn't change much between "set it" from right sat and the "bank angle" call from the center. This is incredible to watch and inspiring. Talk about a well-oiled machine.

●@drunktarutaru The a400 has a configuration called Down Between Engines, it helps the wing produce more lift and reduces yaw if an outboard engine is lost. It also reduces torque and prop wash on the wing. Karlosblanco is on the right path, he's just not quite got it
