●ACTUALLY keizercummins, the 6.4 is much different then the 6.0, with the only major recall being radiator leaks and the big difference is the 6.4 has twin turbos

●ACTUALLY the 6.4 is a majorly different engine yes shares same basic design as the 6.0 but hey the 7.3 share the same design as well and the 6.4 uses a bed plate instead of bearing mains and the head bolts are almost twice the size, it uses a thicker block and heads PLUS the 6.4 has no HPOP system to fail HPOP was one of the 6.0's biggest downfalls so that being said the only "PROBLEM" the 6.4 has is DPF and EGR which can be deleted so get your facts straight before you comment
●6.4's just a slightly reworked 6.0. We see basically every problem the 6.0 had with the 6.4's, and then some. So, pick your poison.

Both the Dodge and Chevy will be a tad bit faster. Why, you ask? Curb weight. The Super Duty is heavy, plain and simple. Now, you take that same 6.4, like in this video, and race a Dmax making 75-100 less horsepower, and that's what happens. It's not a 6.4 "thing." It's a "power level" thing.
●Not from what I've seen in my limited experience with the 6.4's. BUT, something to keep in mind here; the Ford is the heaviest of the Big 3... they are clearly built for work and carry the heaviest components. The GM is the lightest of the Big 3, with luxury in mind, not work ethic. So it would make sense that the lighter GM would win.. although, in my experience the Ford still ends up winning.

●maybe you should look closer at the direction of the tread. The V shape has the pointy end coming around first when going forward which would split the looser material if there was slippage which makes the next tread bite into the harder ground below. If the soil is soft more than a couple inches or there is mud then reversing the tread pattern can allow the tire to stay on top of the soil/mud as it will compact the material into the V. Mud trucks can benefit from this with enough wheel speed

Im from Oklahoma where I farmed when I was younger and I know the purpose of directional tread its for pulling and better bite in the dirt or mud

●Who really cares? Modding a diesel is just for fun, what most people want engine mated to a great transmission that are both efficient, torkey and reliable. The performance of a tuned duramax is just a by-product of the 4-v heads which breathes close to 30% better
●ACtually it's designed by Isuzu, world class diesel manufacturer. They even built diesel for american skidsteer companies and reefer trailer companies. And isuzu bought most of their GM share with the money they made of their commercial diesel trucks. Then gm bought back all the rights on the plans and etc.
