●Obviously any laser diode will work, it's a matter of getting it to fit in the flashlight, as well as the power of the laser it will output. He uses a dvd burner as they have small and powerful laser diodes.

●It seems like the spider is just in a trance as the effect this spider recieved is also achievable with a small cheap version. The light does not burn the spider it just irritates the eye sight. blindness will follow. Keep in mind that the fool most likely saw the reaction and tourmented the spider before hand and only then thought of going to fetch his camera. by then the poor spider was de hydrated and well agitated. So most likely the poor spider died of de hydration and not of the lazer.

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Rage, Sublime, Beck, Collective Soul, Tupac and hip hop in general, and on and on. So most 80s music consisted of digi synths, which I agree sound like shit. Analogue has a natural warmth that digital can't reproduce. The Beatles scarcely used synths but Zeppelin, Steve Miller, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer all made great use of analogue synths especially Floyd.
