●"Nice" does better than real trucks! I used be into RC 4 wheel drive trucks but after a while the water & sand works it's way into even the best sealed bearing. I finally dropped the hobby that went to gas powered boats. After that I spent the money on my 1980 Toyota pickup & have been blowing money sense on it. Yes the RC trucks are not only fun - safer - & a whole lot cheaper. I drive a over the road tractor & have recently purchased another RC Truck for fun at truck stops. Cheers

●your best off saving that money so. buying anything cheaper than £170 -£300 price range, is going to be terrible. it may drive well until something goes then you will not be able to find spare parts. the main makers of decent rc off the top of my head are tamiya, team associated, hpi, losi, traxxas, thunder tiger and kyosho (although i haven't heard of anyone with one of those) if your lookin at off road traxxas or losi is the one you want
