●I have Jail broken a couple phones and generally there are not any problems, but sometimes weird things will happen. For example on a 3GS with Redsnow the text message box would not appear, and had to be hard restored. If you use Cydia select "User" which will prevent you from downloading programs that will mess with the eternal components of your Iphone, also make sure when downloading apps from Cydia, that the applications are signed.

Unplug your phone from the power cord. Leave power cord plug up to computer. Press and hold the home button while plugging phone back up to power cord. Keep holding home button until the image of a cord and itunes appear. when it does release home button. and your itunes should pop up to restore. Restore using itunes. takes about 1hr
