●well to be fair the Jeeps of the 90's are called YJ's and they didnt make a TJ unitil 97 and they wont plastic. and they still put the same 4.0 258ci in the jeeps. and the 3.6 is a pos mini van motor that is good for nothing.
●unreliable? I only have 90,000km on my 08, but all I have ever done is change fluids and filters and it runs like it did the day I bought it. And as far as traction control goes, crash avoidance systems are required on all modern vehicles. Don't hate

●Well to be fair, the interior of current jeeps is much much better than the hard plastic of the TJs of the 90s and early 2000s. Also, the 4.0L though had tons of torque, was an ancient engine, with roots all the way back to the 70s and 80s. It was inefficient, and made minimal upper end power. The new 3.6L DOHC stomps on it in terms of low and high end torque, and on road performance because it actually has high end horsepower.
