●You are correct. Back in 60-61, Coltrane left Miles. Word went out that Trane was looking for a Drummer. Not easy complimenting John who never makes mistakes in tone, breathing, cord progressions and practices for hours every day. Trane get McCoy, who is the best at chords, and Art B, who is simply then, the best Drummer in jazz. Musicians have a language only other musicians understand. Be well..
