●First of all its a Ghazal.. Ghalib ghazals were sung by hundreds of singers. Ghazal is copied when you sing with the same composition.. You should use word imitate if someone exactly sing "Poet" Ghazal by copying composition of others..

Rappelons que cet air était à l'origine une chanson révolutionnaire reprise par la contre-révolution catholique et donc il avait un message politique fort. Ce qui explique les cadences militaires et le rythme peu raffiné (si je puis m'exprimer ainsi). Voilà pour la petite histoire! ;-)
