Talking about the Mora survival knife. The final review and a tip how you can use a old triangia burner.
●Your very welcome I´m glad you enjoyed it. It is a very good knife and I have used it alot since then. Regards Adrian
●Okay. I see your final recommendation so I'll get this knife. So long as I do not baton with it except during an emergency, it should last making it a very cost effective and practical package. Thanks for the vid and your testing. It's the best out there on this knife.
●A 90$/600kr (it costs that much in sweden) Mora knife is nothing but a joke!!. My advice would be to buy a Mora 2000,a firesteel (army model) and a Fällkniven dc4 stone for 72$/480kr or if you choose to go with a Mora companion model even less. Good review otherwise...you`re not to blame for Mora of Swedens hybris :)
●Sometimes it is easier just to use them as a neckknife with some cord.
●As for the sheath they are not the best and do not fit all belts but if it is a closed one and your belt is to thick for the loop. You heat the plastic with a hair dryer and the stick a ruler or somthing like that trough the loop and leave it there till the plastic has cooled down that will make it wide.
●Hi in what way and were is it starting to get pits? I keep my knives oiled when I am not using them it helps. I also use a polishing past and a slow drill buff. Gets a nice shine on the knife and it also helps to keep the knife smooth. If it is on the bevel a japanese waterstone or you can also use a 1000 grit wet sandpaper makes them very sharp and shiny.
●I got my wife and I a cheap Mora. Its starting to get pits. Any suggestions? The sheath is not good, but my wife is going to make a leather one for em. The sheath does not fit on belts easily, too thin of a place for the belt and what goes around the belt is too thin. It looks like it is going to break. But for the price I dont expect much. The knife has a nice big grip area. I wanted the 2000. I liked how it was wider for batoning. Have to leaern how to harvest pitch when I move to Oregon.
●Absolutely Adrian. Linköping isn't really "runt knuten" from Idre but shout if you are going to be in the vicinity and I will do likewise.
●Cool knive, nice tip!!! Thanks for showing Adrian Groetjes

Burner available at canteenshop.com. Great piece of kit, and almost bulletproof!!!!
●Great stuff been saving up for some bushcraft stuff and I think im gonna get this and a whole bunch of other stuff from canteenshop. Keep up the good work brother!!!
●timely vid - i was just looking into that little triangia
●Thanks Ken!! Good revveiw pickin one up!!! ...Jimmy...
●You can probably find a high temp silicon o ring that will fit. I've seen them that will take up tp 500 to 600 degrees.
●I just use the simmer ring as a snuff lid and then I let it cool off before I put the main lid on so it wont melt the o-ring.
●The Trangia burners are the best. I have used mine hundreds of times and they work great in cold weather to. I have heard people say that below -20 they don't work well. I live in Canada, and I have used mine in the Northern parts of Canada in temperatures lower then -35. I have the vargo burner also, and I only use it for my BCB cook system because it fits perfectly in the stove. The trangia is by far the best alcohol burner around. The Canteen shop stove stand and trangia burner are #1.
●Those stoves are pretty much bombproof. I've always heard to use the closed simmer ring as the snuffer cap, and not the screw lid. Great review Bro!

Triangia penny stove mod i did with a cheap, fake cooking kit. The stove rusted from inside and it didnt have those port holes so it didnt work good. I needed a replacement stove.
Another video of the Alcohol Stoves I made burn test two later I will make a video on taking them apart and how to also triangia stove, and cook with canteen cup pot.
●There was actually nothing wrong with any of them the one on the right, my son took apart and it just wasn't pushed down all the way and the triangia stove I just didnt put enough fuel . And I also made another smaller triangia stove so I will be posting a video of all of them burning hopefully tomorrow . thanks
●Those are some great looking stoves thanks for the videos
