Bach's most famous organ piece, with a bar-graph score. FAQ Q: Can I download a version to play on my computer/iPod/iPad/iPhone/etc.? A: Yes, you can get that here: musanim.cerizmo.com Q: Where can I
●THIS . this right here is a masterpiece, true music, Bach is a artist !
●delightful, that was fun watching it
●i see super mario jumpin' over those peaks xDD
●This was Rock music before rock music existed.
●a true master piece
●After looking at visuals I can only imagine how hard this piece is to play!
●Someone mentioned some months ago that they would have loved to have lived in Bach's time just to hear this piece live, and based on what I know and have read...no you don't. It's good to read about, and educate oneself about how he lived his life, how difficult it was, and how he was able to write such incredible music that wasn't appreciated then as it is now, and the reader is able to know all these things while enjoying modern day luxuries.
●XD
●Think about this. Musicians composed this beautiful pieces for the whole orchestra 300 years ago without any technology, and people these days make crappy songs for 1 person and they don't even have to know anything about music, for they can do it on the PC in 20 minutes. Just sad.
●Best of Bach...
●And yet we let this shit pop music permeate our ears. Beat your kids.
●Wow. I was born in the wrong time.
●I like watching this video while stoned. It's excellent while straight too.
●It was written about three hundred years ago.
●how old is this song its very good
●Who the fuck DOESN'T love this song?
●Work of art
●Nice music, listen to this youtube.com/watch?v=ObCW8ijw-VM

●What does "prlizvedenie" mean?
●Translation from the russian post... "If I were deaf, as a writer, but after seeing this amazing visual works, I am sure that I not only understood what prlizvedenie, but would feel the harmony of the whole of it. Full Respect to the creators of this visibility."
●the first few bars sound like something I herd in an old horror movie somewhere. but the rest is cool too

Vanessa-Mae plays a rare version of Toccata & Fugue with her acoustic violin, accompanied by the Bratislava Radio Symphony Orchestra. This was during her Classical tour in '96.
●Any idea what was she saying at 2:51, that...?
●I'd Just Listen To Her Play.......
●come on,That's only 5 ppl'd do her?
●fasten your seatbelt!! ;)
●Piękne!
●The masses? You are no better than any other human in this world, although you exceed at looking down at others for no reason whatsoever. Your condescending tone is, undeserved to say the least. Finally, had the makers of the classics seen their pieces changing with the times, "moderniz[ing]" they would love it, considering that is exactly what they were doing in their own era.
●The 8 million plus hit count is misleading. About 6 million of the hits are mine!. I love this video.
●That obviously doesn't include you. This would explain why Vanessa Mae is known an respected internationally. On the other hand who is Dan Lightning?
●I bet you find yourself alone at all the concerts you go to. You ever wonder why no one wants to go with you? ;-0
●You obviously know nothing about music then. Vanessa-Mae is a prodigy that has been playing most of her life, and just because she adds a different style to it you have the never to call it crap? Until I hear your name playing great classical music around the world, keep your lame opinions to yourself.
●Ela é boa a musica também
●Well at least these musicians seems to enjoy what they are doing - pure classical musicians seem to be at death's door.
●learned playing the violin for 12 years and she was my role-model the whole time...^^ nostalgia :)
●Daaht Shmiiile~~
●they said the same to gershwin. made no difference. he still became one of the greats...sooo.... yeah.
●well, i can see your point.i also enjoy pure classical music more, but i dont find this all that bad.
●Because much of what hits the mainstream is garbage. It's tolerable if someone wants to experiment with a classic piece on a Youtube vid. When the same experiment makes it to a formal event like this, it makes my stomach churn. This is trite, watered-down crap, made for the masses. This junk is mind-numbing for anyone who knows a thing about music.
●Very similar to the SKY version. Would be interesting to see which was don first!
●good morning my name is ben.i am very surprised to see that american and english people has A BRAIN for appreciating classical music mozart or beethoven per example. i thought americans and britains were so retarded so brain limited for appreciating classic. because 99% of the britains and yankees are just listening lady gaga and such trash music. ben.

Kurt Ison, Sydney Town Hall. Edited and produced by Christopher Hayles, 2002.
●Superb!
●This sounds like videogame music from the 80s.
●you sir a very much sadly mistaken. there are no new musical forms that are worth replacing rock, only musical forms that are trumping it in popularity. But rock is still here and well. pay no mind to alternative because it seems they lost faith as well

●SOOOO EPIC HES PLAYING WITH HIS FEEEEEEET
●This's insane.
●This is going to sound stupid, but... Is the video sped up? Or is Richter that fast? •_•
●This piece was played during the music lesson at school. It had amazed me so much. Can't figure out who on earth would dislike this masterpiece!

●I wonder how this would sound in a major key
●грандиозный инструмент
●better place for this piece is Stephansdom Cathedral in Wien
●I learnt to play this on the local church pipe organ near where I lived when I was small... damn great fun it was playing it at my cousin's wedding sitting next to the organist after the vows had been affirmed... it was worth it just to see about 70-80 odd guests with extremely shocked expressions on their faces... expecting some cheap love song for newlywed exit music... instead they had to put up with ten minutes of this...
●I know it sounds strange, but I'm getting high watching Richter's feet move...

Toccata and fugue in D minor by JS Bach played on glass harp (musical glasses) by robert Tiso Recorded and mixed at Blocco A, (PD) Italy by Giulio Ragno Favero and Giovanni Ferliga. New Album "CRYSTAL
●Even if I knew all the notes, I don't think many people could play it in this manner
●but it probably wasnt possible to play all of them with that setup
●correction you skipped alot of notes ,but still sounded halfway decent. (forgive the harshness but i know every note of the song lol)
●you skipped a few notes during the toccata but i still applaud your efforts
●@roberttiso You could do the whole Mad Scene from "Lucia di Lammermoor". It's very eerie.
●Cool instrument. Must get out of tune in hot weather as the water evaporates! ;)
●243 people have broke glasses and don't like that
●no, that doesn't sound logical at all

●And the Germans are awesome at music, take a look at the old videogame composer Chris Hülsbeck, and the movie composers Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. But yeah, I agree that it's shallow to think that you can attribute the identity of the individual to their age, skincolor, ethnicity, culture, religion, country of origin. I for one don't consider any of those factors to be at all important to who I am.
●There are plenty of awesome people out there of every race, they just don't usually attribute their success to their race. Lots of non-Asians are the best at something (Einstein, Hawking, etc.), and lots of Asians are the best at something. I choose to recognize individuals based on their own success, not stereotypes.
●Well, I would definitely agree that it doesn't make you inherently better to be Asian. I'm not stupid enough to think that one ethnicity is born with a brain capable of greater intelligence and skill than another. I only ever meant that the Asians are doing damned well for themselves and there's always some crazy freaking Asians out there, beating all of our records, no matter how awesome we get at something! Heh heh.
●[cont.] are successful without it.) However, these differences are the result of cultural differences and government, not genetics. Being Asian does not make you inherently smarter or better, being raised in a culture or by a family that pushes for success does.

Bach- minuet in G major. JS Bach was a German composer and keyboard player. During his lifetime Bach was chiefly known for his masterful organ and harpsichord playing; his great genius as a composer w
●Baroque roolz!
●Yes it is in A Major! Still a good version for it. Great Transcription Excercise.
●Actually The Toys from the 60's took the melody, and created the lyrics and it's called "Lover's Concerto".
●Amazing. This is in A major obviously, but no matter what you call it, it still has 1.2 million views because it's beautiful no matter what you call it.
●What happened in 0:45??? O_O
●I love classical music its really beautiful to me^w^

●This song is as everlasting and endless ly beautiful as universe itself. I love it.
●I was looking for this version quite desperately. Amusing, nice, beautiful, pleasant and delightful.
●Check out this cool video, search "Otto Nemenz Cycling Team"! With the music of Bach!

●Well said, sir!Well said.Who knows how I'll feel in another ten years!
●My favourite architect Frank Lloyd Wright would, from time to time, wonder out loud whether Bach or Beethoven was the best. I don't think he ever resolved the issue. I have spent years going from one to the other and back again. Hopefully, I'll never resolve the question one way or the other. The difference? I think Bach has a grasp of the intricacy of the harmony unfolding at the centre of the universe whereas Beethoven is the more turbulent soul. I love them both.
