●Alas, it's a ton of work to go from concept to full game. I do think it will be fun to redo it (much like seen in the video) using our Argon browser (which is a free download, already available on iOS). At least folks can try it out!

So, we could actually do this now, it's no longer research (we've built other prototypes like this using phones and widely available tech recently). We're going to be shipping a different game soon (Nerdherder). But, if I had funding, I'd love to make this real.

●I would agree that the first one is a cool story, i wouldnt call it a good one thou (it certainlly fits the game perfect). yea the 2nd and especially the 3d loses track of everything. Zero punctuation sums up GoW 3 pretty well i think.

He talks about how the first game is a successful Greek tragedy, though the second and third get a tad convoluted and lose sight of that. ●As much as I enjoyed Grim Fandango, it was part of a genre with one foot in the grave and saddled with an extremely unpopular (and frankly awkward) control system. A lot of gamers stopped dead when they found out it was completely keyboard driven, without anything like a traditional cursor at all. And the less said about the briefly pictured Indigo Prophecy, the better. There's a vast world of difference between good writing and baffling pseudophilosophical bullshit.

●Good video, I really enjoyed it and the song choice combined with the video was very well done. I just have one small point (it's really a bitchy point, so i apologize in advance) but at 1:07 the soldier there has a Lee Enfield .303 No4, which was not in service until WW2. That rifle had not even been designed yet. He should actually have the Lee Enfield SMLE (Short Magazined Lee Enfield) as that was the standard issue for British troops in WW1 (and for the beginning of WW2).

And since we never see him get out of bed, its really seems likely he's dreaming. If the boss is supposed to be pointing at a clock, he should...point at a clock, really. It's not at all clear how Clocky helps the guy because his problem isn't firmly established before it's solved. It just looks like he bought a toy online while he's supposed to be at work.
●The narrative is pretty simple: dude's sleeping, looks over at his clock, he's late. Gets to work, gets in trouble. Oversleeps again, boss POINTS to the clock, zoom in on the clock, clearly showing it's late, guy goes to the clocky website, guy buys clocky, guy opens clocky, clocky goes off, guy picks it up, guy gets to work on time and gets accolades and thumbs up. Not really hard to follow. Very sequential. You'd have to be watching with your eyes closed to not realize what's happening.
