●...I cried too, because it doesn't look like he'll ever be in one. All of the movie rights for Spiderman are owned by Sony Pictures. The new reboot of the Spiderman series has also stopped the rights defaulting back to Marvel/Disney to use, most likely so Sony doesn't give up a multi-million dollar franchise to a competing studio. The same goes for a couple other franchises (Fantastic 4, X-Men, etc.) that are owned by other studios. What's that you say? "That's lame!" ...I couldn't agree more.
