Wätzold handelt von einige rüstigen Rentnerinnen, die den Bürgern der Stadt Göppingen das Leben zur Hölle machen. Egal ob jung oder alt, schwarz oder weiß, alle die den Omas "auf den Keks gehen", stehen auf der Abschussliste. Das Hauptthema ist Mobbing-mal auf eine andere Art. Die Handlung ist sehr realistisch dargestellt, an manchen Stellen sogar ziemlich amüsant.
