Con le cure al cancro prendeva dei medicinale proibiti nel ciclismo, anche quando e' rientrato alle corse prendeva medicinali per continuare la cura. All'improvviso e' diventato un treno in salita, non si e' mai capito questa sua trasformazione come scalatore. Pantani faceva venire i brividi quando scattava, ma dava fastidio a tutti.

Andy proofed many times already, that he sucks at descending, so I can't really see him winning the tour 2012, sadly ;)

Which means big heavy build for high output of power for a long time. Climbers are skinny with not a high max power but able to go against gravity easier.

It's naturally what people do in groups, watch any group in any race and the leader is constantly changing in order to save the whole group energy.
