Surprisingly no one has uploaded this song, its one of my favorite by the dogs.
●op ivy will always be a good buy
●i LOVE street dogs. i grew up with their music. i saw them in concert a couple years ago and i got to meet mike. he gave me the set list and autographed it. it was EPIC
●Great song. Mike is one of the great leaders of the influence of this next generation. We all remember him with Dropkick'. The few, the proud & never forgotten. Do or die!
●Thank you , it was very sudden and he was very young. I have my good and bad days, have no doubt he watches over me. Peace :)
●FCK to my bros it is the ultimate song stay with forever i cant lose you !
●RIP to your bro!! couldnt imagine the pain as i have 2 brothers,...... it would kill me to think they passed..... FUCK!!! dont think that way
●I just saw these guys at the warped tour. I'm a really hardcore death metal fan but I like these guys. They're good.
●Thank you SO much very sweet of you. He was the main positive male role model in my life ... amazing guy and Brother :)
●I want to meet the guy who disliked this and beat his ass.
●Love ya Rachel, wish I could've met your brother!
●true but this is still a gd cd...thats undeniable
●im 14 but ive been listening to punk y ska for a while so it was easier for me to get it. i saw a kid wearing a op ivy shirt last week and i ran up to him and started taling to him
●One of the first bands i saw, gotta love that working class shit, "or duckin by my side" oh ya, ben there...
●how do u not like operation ivy vocals haha? its angry fast ska punk, whats there not to love?
●I love Op Ivy, I see myself listening to this alottt more though.
●dude op ivy>street dogs, what the fuck are you regretting?
●I'm 14, I like alot of the Hardcore bands from the 80s, the only newr bands I like are NoFX and Set To Destroy, Compared to alot of the albums I listen to, Energy sounds amazing as far as quality. I don't like the vocals. haha.
●i guess it depends on when you got into them. if i was hearing energy for the first time now i probably wouldn't be that impressed compared to music of today and recording quality. but back in the early-mid nineties energy was fucking epic. best songs: knowledge, sound system, freeze up, artificial life, healthy body sick mind, yellin in my ear. OP IVY is to pop punk what maiden and sabbath are to metal. freeman and armstrong both are legends.
●Ehhhh, I don't really like Operation Ivy, Jaded is an amazing song, so is Hoboken, and Sleep Long, Matt Freeman kicks ass.
●i'd choose energy over this. they're not really comparable. energy is one of the greatest punk records ever made. i don't think this is.
●Gotta admit, brah, that's tight as shit!
●Energy is a great album, so is this
●Saw this Album, Got the Operation Ivy one instead. I wish I got this one.
●thats sick!! i got one for ya, at a dropkick show on my 18th bday (all time favorite band haha) the guitarist took off his wrist cuff and threw it into the croud and my friend caught it and gave it too me after i got out of the pit XD
●"You inspired me, with your tanacity!" Hells ya, keep workin that workin class

New version from the new album: Street Dogs
●Are you all kidding me? Its mikes song. Its mikes friend he lost. I am so glad they re did it. They re did with a complete band rather than him and johnny and a few of their friends. This has so much more heart. I love them both but even the guitar in this one sounds better. "This chorus is still for you" Reminding mike that his friend is still dear to him if you ask me.
●i like this version but both are great
●holy gooooosebumps. I haven't felt this way about a song in soooo long. I'm extremely impressed with the reissue.
●just watched them on shamrock n roll amazing band
●they actually rerecorded it because savin hill isn't in print anymore, but this song is still a hugely poular live song. and i think both versions are great.
● not better but every one can understand what he's singing all in all the other one is better but this isthe street dogs songs 2 have 2 version's of!
●great song from both albums...this sounds way cleaner...maybe savin hill version has a bit more feeling but oh well get over it
●songs good no matter what
●I like the Savin Hill version better, but this is still a great version regardless.
●I prefer this version myself. The original seems a bit flat in comparison, and this one has a better intro
●Holy crap I can't believe someone likes this version better than Savin Hill. This is an overproduced pile compared to the raw energy on Savin Hill. I was so disappointed that they remade this. Think of what this song is saying and then tell me it's better like this. This is a screaming tribute to a certified tough guy. There are parts where Mike is almost whispering. They should have left it alone.
●One of the greatest punk bands out of Boston. Mike and Johnny kick ass. Genuinely nice people too.
●such a better version than the savin hill one

Dec. 19th 2006 @ Axis Pug Uglies, Westbound Train, and Far From Finished also played. I recorded it on my digital camera.
●I remember that Mike used to Sing for Dropkick Murphy's like fourteen years ago.
●There's a lot more to it than that. He wasn't actually a firefighter until about 2 years after leaving DKM. He did other shit beforehand.
●I was at this show too....backstage...this song is written about my Brother Kenny, check Streetdogs Myspace, his pic is under "my photos"
●God this is a great song!
●Mike is a legend...do or die is amazing and there isnt one bad Street Dogs song
●He wanted to be a firefighter in Boston.
●best vocalist ever. why did he leave dkm?

●great stuff!! that guy inthe "staff"shirt looks like Ruckerr!!!
●one of the sickest punk rock songs alive..a part of me will die when they quit playing..and if we keep producing these horrible bands in todays music, alot a punk'll die too. Mike McColgan please never stop..you kick ass man. ive never seen a show more alive than theirs..they go hard
●i really hope the show on the 26 in london is half as good as this one its a bit of home seeing them
●this generation's joe strummer (imo).
