●I'm sure that the ZR1's roof, hood, wing, splitter, rockers etc. are made of fully carbon fiber. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall the $245,000 GT2 having any large components made of carbon fiber like the ZR1. I do beleive that the outside mirrors are made of carbon fiber, but that's all. Truth is, the ZR1 still has more carbon fiber, better performance if you have the right driver and costs $135,000 less than the GT2. The "Plastic" comment seems like an excuse to me.

Carbon fiber uses 2 layers of dry carbon, and 1 layer of either wet or dry carbon fiber to make it truely, FULL carbon fiber. Only cars, that use full carbon fiber have 5x the price of the zr1.
