Bach's most famous organ piece, with a bar-graph score. FAQ Q: Can I download a version to play on my computer/iPod/iPad/iPhone/etc.? A: Yes, you can get that here: musanim.cerizmo.com Q: Where can I
●Nice music, listen to this youtube.com/watch?v=ObCW8ijw-VM
●composition
●so this is where the cool bleach theme is from xD 1:19
●What does "prlizvedenie" mean?
●Translation from the russian post... "If I were deaf, as a writer, but after seeing this amazing visual works, I am sure that I not only understood what prlizvedenie, but would feel the harmony of the whole of it. Full Respect to the creators of this visibility."
●the first few bars sound like something I herd in an old horror movie somewhere. but the rest is cool too
●What did he even say? :o
●thats amzing!!
●thank you, was trying to make sence of it
●I know there is a possibility that this was not written by Bach, but I personally believe he did write it. Thank you very much for posting my (very) favorite organ piece.
●bello bello ballo ballo billo billo bollo bollo bullu bullu
●sounds like drunkard
●He'd Be All Like: WOW REALLY? WOW!!! I WOULD'NT THINK PEOPLE TODAY WOULD APPRICEATE MY MUSIC!!! Me: We Appriciate it the same if not more ever since you made it J.S!
●Tutankamun married his step-sister.....whats your point?
●The Cycle of fifths- So simple yet so effective, I love it :)
●Bach married his cousin... that's pretty weird.
●Wait... wasn't this composed first when the music machines weren't around? O.o
●The Sheet music is hard for me to read :'( Iv'e tried learning it but alas, it has yielded no help :'( could you release a download for the notes? like C, F, G and so on? Im sure it would help those who are less musically talented <3
●so complex! im growing to like classic music quite a lot in the past year.
●2:50 <3
●I wonder if Bach knew he would hit 17 million views?
●this song ends for about 5 minutes, its like the lord of the rings
●I like it

Amazing...
●This's insane.
●This is going to sound stupid, but... Is the video sped up? Or is Richter that fast? •_•
●This piece was played during the music lesson at school. It had amazed me so much. Can't figure out who on earth would dislike this masterpiece!
●234 People are deaf...
●I wonder how this would sound in a major key
●better place for this piece is Stephansdom Cathedral in Wien
●I learnt to play this on the local church pipe organ near where I lived when I was small... damn great fun it was playing it at my cousin's wedding sitting next to the organist after the vows had been affirmed... it was worth it just to see about 70-80 odd guests with extremely shocked expressions on their faces... expecting some cheap love song for newlywed exit music... instead they had to put up with ten minutes of this...
●I know it sounds strange, but I'm getting high watching Richter's feet move...
●You forget a third important ingredient: a great instrument!
●NO ENTIENDO PORQUE DIABLOS LOS QUE FILMAN ESTAS OBRAS LES DAN POR PASAR SECUENCIAS QUE NO VALEN LA PENA Y NO GRABAN JUSTO EL MOMENTO QUE MAS INTERESA A LOS ESTUDIANTES, EN ESTE CASO EL COMIENZO DE LA FUGA, QUE VAINA CON ESTOS SUJETOS, EXCELENTE, SIN DUDA EXCELENTE, ESTE SI PODRIA SER DE LAS MEJORES VERSIONES, EN FIN TENIA QUE SER RICHTER
●stil with another instrument/ church .... do you know Black Church in Broasov/Romania? is tha best place to play this piece! especiali if you have the hands and soul of RIchter )
●JS Bach--a true GERMAN genius!
●Brilliant performance from a man with the most shiny shoes I ever did see.
●3rd...a big ass organ ...we have it... checked btw, i was wondering why does the guy helping Karl Richter look so jealous... :-)
●Perfection.
●wunderschön
●I love how at the end it reveals he isn't using sheet music.
●For all of you Karl Richter´s and Bach´s fans there is the 1961 recorded version of the b minor mass here in youtube downloaded by SOMALIAAFGHANISTAN
●Karl Richter is a reminder from the Universe, so we never forget Bach.
●i pity the one who will never hear this masterpiece in his whole life

Toccata and fugue in D minor by JS Bach played on glass harp (musical glasses) by robert Tiso Recorded and mixed at Blocco A, (PD) Italy by Giulio Ragno Favero and Giovanni Ferliga. New Album "CRYSTAL
●243 people have broke glasses and don't like that
●no, that doesn't sound logical at all
●I C WAT U DID DARE.
●How is it racist to say that everyone is equal...?
●all off you are being racist im asian!!!!!!!!!!!
●Y U NO Have white mask?
●Amazing... thank you..
●ohhhhhhhh!!!!!! he's better than chuck norris!!!
●I love your music. It's sound celestial. You are wonderfully talented.
●Seriously amazing. O.O
●I FUGUEING LOVE THIS.
●fuckin orgasmic, bravo!
●Hahahahah... so do I..
●Maybe that represents the amount of people who missed the like button or randomly hit buttons. :P
●fantastic
●And the Germans are awesome at music, take a look at the old videogame composer Chris Hülsbeck, and the movie composers Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. But yeah, I agree that it's shallow to think that you can attribute the identity of the individual to their age, skincolor, ethnicity, culture, religion, country of origin. I for one don't consider any of those factors to be at all important to who I am.
●There are plenty of awesome people out there of every race, they just don't usually attribute their success to their race. Lots of non-Asians are the best at something (Einstein, Hawking, etc.), and lots of Asians are the best at something. I choose to recognize individuals based on their own success, not stereotypes.
●Well, I would definitely agree that it doesn't make you inherently better to be Asian. I'm not stupid enough to think that one ethnicity is born with a brain capable of greater intelligence and skill than another. I only ever meant that the Asians are doing damned well for themselves and there's always some crazy freaking Asians out there, beating all of our records, no matter how awesome we get at something! Heh heh.
●[cont.] are successful without it.) However, these differences are the result of cultural differences and government, not genetics. Being Asian does not make you inherently smarter or better, being raised in a culture or by a family that pushes for success does.
●[cont.] while the difference between races is so negligible that non-physical traits like personality and intelligence are more affected by culture than by race. Your argument may have had some hope if you pointed out the cultural differences between Asian culture and Western culture (the school system in Asia is more competitive iirc, therefore those who grow up in Asia are pushed to succeed and push their children to succeed, while in the west, schools are less competitive and many people
●[cont.] To think that you know what the "consensus" or "popular lingo" is based on your own experience and contact with a minority of the population is ridiculous. Comparison with animals is silly as well. Yes, there are genetic differences between Asians and other races, and there are also genetic differences between other species and humans. This is an argument that is often used to promote racism and segregation. HOWEVER, the difference between animals and humans is so vast and definable,
●Both of your premises are wrong, though. First, while YOU might refer to Asians as "better than everyone else", plenty of people don't. I've never actually heard someone say that seriously-- at most I've heard "Asians are smart," or "Asians do better in school." And even if people said that, it doesn't make it true-- there is in fact such a thing as a "misconception." Popular lingo? You're not accounting for differences in dialects between regions and countries, not to mention language barriers.
●Two can play at that game. Asians are in popular lingo referred to as better than everyone else, but let's take it to the next step. Humans are constantly acting upon assumptions that a human life weighs heavier and is worth more than that of any animal, whether it's a deer, bear, frog, snail, ant, humanity claims superiority. What proof does humanity have to the claim that a human life is worth more? Often the claims to back it up are actually what makes humanity worse than all else.
●Did you miss my first comment? Why would I start a comment with "also" if I only had one thing to say? Trust me, there are plenty of errors with your argument. Read my first comment, and if that's not enough for you, I can show you what else is wrong with what you're saying.
●its interesting to watch the patterns of his hands as he moves up and down the scales

Posibly my favourite Bach composition. The Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565, is a piece of organ music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach sometime between 1703 and 1707. It is one of the most famo
●Ill be Bach (crappy one liner)
●I *love* the low, low D after the main theme. It has so much power, and so much authority... and the diminished seven chord...It's almost like someone is in pain, and then the Picardy third is like then pain being relieved... Bach had so much command of music, and his instrument, and was able to make it tell a story... Absolutely beautiful.
●Concidering the time, this was Metal as Fuck
●It's because the score for the Castlevania cames were heavily influenced by this piece and many others like it. Or atleast my generation. But it really is something you'd imagine any dark figure playing in a morbid castle. I'm sure it still annoys you, but its a great piece of nocturnal music.
●it annoys me so much that people always assosciate this with dracula!!!!!
●J.S. Bach was the Chuck Norris of the 18th Century ;)
●hahaha so funny you must be a genius... :|
●The pedal work alone in this piece is incredible.
●This is insane......Bach really achieved mastery of both composition and actual playing.
●i wish johann sebastian bach... WILL COME BACH...
●Great isn't it!!!!
●now this is music to my ears bach is a genius
●Ahhh, D minor, is there anything you cannot make sound evil?
●It's the Phantom's, not Dracula's.
●I'd actually be the Phantom of the Opera.
●Yeah, bards. They have a bad reputation in RPG and LARP XD
●the other way around : you can open your testpapers now! - music plays :D
●Classical was awesome first. Before that it was bards singing while playing a lute or drum.
●Best composition ever !!!! :D
●Part of this was part of Orochimaru's theme in naruto! haha I never noticed this in my life, and never thought i would.
●The power of Bach is Bach.
●mine, too
●"Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan..."
●Who remebers this from super 64 mario when you went to face bowser?
●This song gave me nightmares when I was in preschool. Now I love it.

Sheet music avalaible for this version at this address: ( 19 pages ) pages.videotron.com My own transcription for piano for this piece. All the score r somewhere in my head ;-)
●hi just google imslp bwv565 it has busoni edition for solo piano
●Is there possibly a free version for piano?
●But in imslp it's probably not for piano, as this is organ piece, right? Also this arrangement is so nice that I plan to purchase it once I get to the level to be able to play it. :-)
●Sweet!
●CONCENTRATION !!! Amazzzzzzingly amazzzing.
●A ma zinggg
●Whats 720p
●I wish 720p existed in 2006.
●yes he has a link just below vid but wants paying!!!!!!!!!!!! no way just go to imslp and get original
●went to the sheets link but i won't pay for it!!!!!!! i got an idea of it anyway so don't need to
●yea i am 8 and love this and rach liszt but also gothic bowie, japan, gypsy hungarian irish and rock
●Nice job. You deserve a better recording studio.
●Nice bro! Im personaly struggling on this for ages. Good one, i felt some emotion here. Going back to work then.
●I'm 14, and this is my all-time favorite song (which is weird, considering my favorite band is Godsmack and my favorite genre is Asian-pop/rock, -_-'), and I wish to learn to play this song on both piano and violin!
●I can play this song and I'm 12 and I can also play sonata in c major so u should play that I would love to hear u play that because your really good
●I honestly enjoyed and aplaused...good to hear that on piano. Great play. How long did it take you to master it?
●I'm 4 years old and I can play this song with my toes blah blah blah no one cares
●hahaha WHO ?
●Thanks for posting this. I wanted to hear this piece on piano as the organ sounds a little muddy ... sorry, I guess that's a little disrespectful to original. I admire your playing. Really enjoyed this.
●I normaly hate when people play music writen for organ on a piano and vice versa. But that suounded really good. You should play it on a organ once :)
●how long did it take you to commit that to memory have you got an eidetic memory ?
●OMG L IS ALIVE!
●I have a question... I wonder how does a person feel when he can realise he is able to play this wonderful piece with his fingers like he was a wizard or a God... I assure you that I would be crying as Stendhal syndrome suffer...
●Come on, you could at least mention Bach in your description.^^

Bach's most famous organ piece, with a bar-graph score. FAQ Q: Why does the screen keep moving after I watch this video? A: See this en.wikipedia.org Q: Where can I get free sheet music for this piece
●BachfugeDminor my favorite ringtone :)
●Beautiful music partner just as your animation.
●2:40 onwards is my favourite part.
●My mind has been shattered and pieced back together by the raw power of this music.
●If by now you did not understand the meaning of "genius", after listening to this you will.
●Thanks for this, and the interesting Q & A.
●"Who is buried in Grant's tomb" is a trick question. The answer is U.S. Grant and his wife.
●lol, you're right. It must be a message from the future, advising us about totalitarism or something.
●Do you know what I don't like of this video?, ¿No?. Right, me neither.
●very cool!
●I could not agree more. I'm not *even* going to say how many times I've watched it! Ultra-cool. Great work!
●Bach should be Dracula's composer!
●I listen to this when I am studying!
●See the Wikipedia article "Motion aftereffect."
●I was completely engrossed as I love the piece and the animation is great... but it completely messed up my eyes!! After the video finished my whole screen appears to be warping to the right! Haha.
●It's not exactly an organ (see the FAQ), but this is typically played on one organ, and what you're hearing here sounds more or less like that.
●This may sound like a stupid question, but is this just one organ playing?
●Can you do this with the "Carillon de Westminster"?
●7:44 was like letters :D
●incredible
●wow 0.o
●I'm only 14 and I just started playing pianos, organs, keyboards. I have made it my sole mission to learn this song, it's just so amazing. Thank you so much for mapping this piece out. Cheers :)
●The music is beautiful that everyone will find something for everyone. For me, this is honey for the eyes and ears. I receive this track almost all the senses.
●I like to graphic representation of the patterns and voicings, and how one section evolves into the next.
●see the item "Q: How did you make this video?" in the FAQ ...

Baroque pipe organ one of the largest in Europe, and one of the most valuable relics of art, as far as instrument construction and decoration goes. www.BaroqueOrgan.com The organ dates back to the XVI
●Dude someday I will find an organ and beast that out lol
●spirituality in sound.
●My Favorite Version of This Timeless Classic!
●12 and having an eargasm! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
●Evil looking ..Are you crazy ? Did you went bananas ??? This is a marvelous, wonderfull magnific piece of wood carving AND the angels figures at the top of the Organ MOVE as far as the music goes. This is the God's view, and hearing, In this church everything is perfect ! In my next trip to Poland I will visit this place and hope to find someone playing this Organ. From Brasil, JAL
●A bunch of assholes :)
●One of the best versions out there. I've heard a better one though.
●amazing, isnt it? A perfectly honest title describing a well-known piece. Wonderfully performed. And performed on a very rare and powerful instrument. But someone took the time to load this page and dislike it. I don't understand either because I usually only 'dislike' dishonesty in title and performance. But an honest title and an honest attempt at art I never dislike. There are many classics that are not to my taste, but to seek them out and punish? Wierd.
●who could possibly dislike this video?
●I have the privilege of playing this on piano. It gives me joy.
●Typical of JSB, he wrote a warm up others know as a masterpiece....some guys have too much talent. And a lot of children.
●I cried. The best recording I've heard so far.
●Eargasm.
●Unique organ...
●My God, that organ is alive. The whole Earth must vibrate in its resonance.
●but it's mind-blowingly beautiful, to the eyes and ears...
●too fast for me.
●Hi,i am looking for a fugue speciallist to tell me what is that chromatic fugue: youtube.com/watch?v=yotypIIavlQ&list=HL1326399726&feature=mh_lolz I found it as notes and then i made it with a music notation program
●This organ has such a lush sound. And the artist, using this lush sound snd his talent really tames the TaCFDm. This organ, especially the sound of the bass pipes is incredible. So this is a Baroque instrument. Does that mean it's a Baroque style instrument, or that it was built in Baroque times? Because if it was, the I say that there hasn't been any progress in organs since then!
●"Truly gives the aural orgasm." Aurgasm? ;-)
●Most of what Bach wrote were teaching tools. Toccata means "to show off" and fugue means to "follow"... so , yes this is a "warm up" to get your fingers, and feet, warmed up for that days practicing.
●FOREVER AMAZING!!!!
●Incredible
●Sebastian Bach...
