For the key of D play: D, A, Bm, G For the key of G play: G, D, Em, C For the key of C play: C, G, Am, F For the key of F play: F, C, Dm, Bflat In music theory it's called a "I V vi IV" progression, meaning major first, major fifth, minor sixth, and major fourth. The other really popular progression is "I IV V", for example C, F, G. So if you know four chords on the guitar you can at least kinda play a whole lotta songs. Have fun!

●My music theory isn't as good as it should be, so maybe someone can expand on what I say. Basically, there are 7 notes in a major scale. For example, in the key of C, the 7 notes are C, D, E, F, G, A, B. If you assign each one a numerical value, you wind up with I (C), II (D), III (E), IV (F), V (G), VI (A), VII (B). If you play a I, IV, V, IV progression in C, you play the chords C, F, G, F. The same rules apply to all other keys, but they are more complicated because they have sharps and flats
●A I IV V IV progression is read one four five four. It means you take your chord, lets go simple, a C major in the key of C, and assign each position in that key a value, 1 through 7. So a I triad (in C) would be CEG, IV is FAC, V is GBD, and back to FAC (IV). That progression sounds very nice, as shown in the video, and is very common in the pop genre of music. There is more to music than most people think :D
