●The point they didn't show Banner's origin is because they showed it in the 2003 Hulk. Now in this 2008 Hulk, the movie begins with flash backs of what happened to him in 2003, then he runs away. Then they send army to Brazil to capture him, and now hes force to come back to get his cure. Banner and his girlfriend developed their relationship in 2003 hulk, that's why they didn't explain how the 2 met in 2008 Hulk. Because it's already explained in the 2003 movie.

Also, this particualry field (inlcuding voice action, animation, illustration, graphic design) is actually going UP in demand over the next 4 years. Remakes show someone else's perspective of a story or upgrade to it (if they can pull that off) for the modern time to keep the franchise active.
