●It´s fully amphibious with water jet propulsion, since propellers are not allowed in some water areas. It´s for big areas floods, in mountain river floods you wouldn´t rescue anything anyway. The tires are 'special production', one for appr. 800 US$. The motor is in the cab and there´s still place for 6 passengers, I don´t think it´s louder than in a medical helicopter though :-)

●not true (ur measurements) i just saw a few days ago where a group of scientists and professional kayaker's went down the river with sonar equipment and found trenches well over 40 MILES deep. as deep as the ocean trenches. the currents are so strong that parts of the river isolate fish populations preventing inter-breeding so theoretically the isolated fish (millions of species) are forced into "super-evolution" where the fish evolve in decades not centuries or millions of years!

●looks like you need to put better/more powerful waterjets so it can be used in swift currents that being said, looks like an impressive beast, but those tires look like they'd never get you through a mudbog. improvements i'd make are either twin jets or larger impeller for more thrust in water or ducted prop?, and actual lugs on the tires, more alike what ARGO's have.
●PS Iv been in floods where water does lay flat for days - the police even had to be rescued when trying to cross it.
●If you watch a lot of the Tsunami footage and I have, the water comes in at a rate, but then settles to reasonably calm before receeding. Yes this vehicle would not be any good initially but it could get rescue teams out there quicker. Its on my shopping wish list :)
