●bad idea , it'll ruin the equilibrium of the car. Toyota and Subaru engineers aren't idiots, they probably tried fitting larger more powerful engine and obviously results weren't good. Numbers don't matter, turbocharger would screw up the car.

●The BRZ doesn't need more power. More power wouldn't make it more fun / rewarding to drive. The same goes for the tires. The ONLY thing more power and wider / stickier tires would do is help the BRZ produce quicker test track #'s. The main reasons for why cars like the BRZ are fun to drive is due to their exploitable limits. You don't have to drive like a jackass to break into a drift, over-steer, etc because the BRZ's limit's age easily exploitable.
●I hope they put the Diesel Boxer into it as an option for those of us in the real world. Love the looks, but never gonna put it sideways or on a track !!!
