●There are two P's here: LP for lower level platforms and UP for upper level platforms, the former being the lowest floor. Apart from these two, there is C meaning the ticketing concourse, which is the top floor.
●Which floor is below P?
●But I've seen many US elevator videos here on YouTube that feature lift cars with glass walls.
●Those are actually very rare here in America.
●Anyway, there are lots of this throughout the whole North America continent. Try out them.
●Very nice elevator, especially with all of the glass!

●Very nice Otis roped hydraulic glass elevator
●But these big buttons aren't common there? Anyway, it is probably OTIS that provides the design and technology regarding roped hydraulic elevator parts.
●Otis still makes plenty of roped hydraulic elevators here.
●OTIS still doesn't seem to build many new units looking like this in North America, right?
●A very nice roped hydraulic elevator. It has big buttons, too.

●Pre-pressed buttons don't allow the car to remain idle even with the door closed.
●: But, isn't pre-pressed buttons better? It's only two floors, and it's perfect for pre-pressed buttons!
●Yes. Elevators commissioned in 2006 or later have standard size erose stainless steel buttons. At least all Kone machine-room-less models feature such.
●Didn't the MTR abandon this design as of late.
●How weird? These buttons are the most easily distingushable just by touch feeling for those blind.
●I dont understand why for the longest time the MTR insisted on elevators with such weird buttons.

●That's a Schindler chime.
●Possibly. But the font is more common in OTIS models.
●Actually, the outside hall station (the one saying "1 ^") looks like a very typical Schindler style down to the pixel. Hopewell Centre's Schindler elevator had this design. Perhaps Schindler maintained it for a while?
●Maybe they've been influenced by those later added Schindler elevators at the site.
●Yeah, these are definitely not very Mitsubishi like. I have never seen Mitsubishi use those elevator chimes.

●Frankly speaking, no. As long as there is no one in strict need of it (e.g. those goods carriers) you can use a goods lift just the same as a passenger lift.
●very interesting, aren't you meant to use the passenger lift?
●That's the fact. Many old industrial buildings already have their old goods elevators with manual doors replaced with newer models featuring automatic doors. Of course, this depends on whether the budget allows.
●Interesting to see this elevator last 45 years, but I still like the freight elevators with the automatic doors better, since they're safer.
