Mustang into Twin Reverb Excuse the sloppy playing, it's just a first take meant to show people what a Mustang's different pickups sound like on a clean setting. Additional notes: '69 reissue Crafted
●This is what i like to see in a review, thankyou, well done son
●You're a wizard, Harry.... A guitar wizard.
●hey man, thanks for the vid, can you please explain to me how the pickup switching and the whole thing works? what is out of phase?
●nice version of lenny
●Harry potter?
●That is without a doubt, the nicest sounding review of the Mustang that Ive heard so far!!! Very good job young man!
●Out of phase having waveforms that are of the same frequency but do not pass through corresponding values at the same. So Imagine an oval (). This is the wavelengths coming out of your guitar, known as in phase in phase. When It is put out of phase, the wavelengths make this kind of shape (( instead of a full ()
●haha yeah man. perfect disguise:p
●where's the tremolo arm?? does it come with it when you buy it, or do you need to buy it separately??
●Did anyone else notice the song by Modest Mouse at the end?
●harry potter playing guitar.
●was the last song you played a modest mouse song? it sure sounded like one.
●Nice sound and great looking guitar/colour. Mostly, I like the reasonable sensible demo and that there's nothing obnoxious or boisterous about you. Too many demo videos look like people are trying to show off something they don't have available to them, if you know what I mean. :)
●what does in Phase mean? :)
●Crunch sample, possible ?
●Where did you get those knobs?! So rad.
●Please, show wiring lace sensor for mustang...
●Should sound great with a chorus pedal
●sweet harry potter can play :) jk sweet vid
●the color is so wonderful.
●wow elliott smith stupidity tries? i always hear some nirvana song lol elliott smith shall be missed sadly though.
●Awesome to see a great CLEAN demo of a mustang.
●what's wrong with just 2 pickups i never cared for the one in the middle anyway a bridge and neck pickup is all you need anyway
●can some please help me here? what does it mean by the pickups being in/out of phase?
●And the 3.?:) thanks

A little Jammin' on my "Mexico Strat" :P !!! over my Fender Twin...runs in low output mode...an the volume is about 3...and its already loud...!!
●You can buy this pickguard in Pro Guitar International Ebay store!
●my Favorite guitar is a rosewood std usa strat, it seem's to have the most sparkle and chime out of all my guitars, well my plus is also up their with it, but that std plays better than my more expensive strats, I put California 50s in it by seymour duncan, since then this guitar is a cut above all my others, everyone that plays it, thinks it is a keeper
●I choose maple because you can get genuinely bright tones, and it it is alot easier to warm the tone up to a rosewood standard, than it is to brighten a rosewoods sound to match a maples
●how long U been building guitars then ? most blues players choose rosewood, I like rosewood over maple, for the simple reason, I think it is faster to play, maple normally gets sticky in the heat, the lacquer gets sticky, I am noticing it more lately, never liked maple for that reason, I guess without the lacquer on it would be fine, so that may happen in the next day or two
●my strat was playing up once ( lose wire ) and I got that 3 pickups on, it sounded pretty sweet, it had that bridge and middle tone with the woodiness of the neck, I miss that soldering iron out me thinks, bet it would sound nice on the plus as well
●I like how the strat plus is set up, it has the TBX working in the bridge position, normally strats have no tone control in that position stock, which I think is not good, as that pickup can be harsh, I have another LTD strat with a TBX & that is bypassed in bridge position, although I am going 2 wire that 2 change it, also my other std with no TBX has the tone control active in bridge position, I am thinking of adding bridge, middle, neck in parallel to the 5 way selector, as that is a nice tone
●I am really into my gold lace censors at the moment, I am more into them that my duncans, which are vintage California 50s, I pluged the plus into my sf vibrochamp then I plugged my other strat in with the duncans, the duncans are a fraction more lively, & are a touch more sensitive, put that will be down to the shielding on the censors, but over all, I am really digging the censors, as U can use all positions without have to roll of on the amps treble ect, my duncans are in a strat with TBX
●Sure youve seen a guitar before it was a guitar Are you missing that I build them from blanks? Im building a Telecaster right now. Tone is subjective, to my ears, I like the sound of a maple neck for blues. Stevie ray and Mayor may use Rosewood, so thats their preference.
●no it's not me, but my point was, I have been around wood from the ground up, seen a guitar before it was anymore that a piece of wood, and I have had the discussion with him, and he is in my opinion, that wood on a electric guitar makes no tonal changes, apart from hollow body's which adds acoustics, just remember, U saying on here that maple is brighter than rosewood, is no different that me saying, maple and rosewood sound the same, most blues players play rosewood tho, so ?
●haha partcasters? Im hand routing bodies out of 1 piece blanks of AAA hardwood. Your friend, your friend that... Thats not you is it?
●yer that means about as much as what I just left in the toilet, so U put a partcaster together and U think your an expert on wood, my friend trained with DUPONT ( a well know Luther of very high standards, and he builds his own from wood that has been naturally dried and untreated, which fender only use on master builds and some custom shops I might add, hey U think U know it so lets just disagree, cause if U want to argue about wood, I think U will be up against, feel free to try
●Im sorry to break your heart but I build guitars. Don't think you know what your talking about, when your talking to someone whos mixed and matched with his own two hands.
●Of course its going to sound like a strat if your using strat pickups. Are you trying to say the wood does not make a difference? Make a guitar out of Birdseye maple vs a guitar with Indian rosewood there is clear difference in tone if you have an ear for it. I have two strats, different body wood, some slightly different components, and the tones are in two different worlds.
●U have been brain washed by music store chumps who use sales putches like, maple is much brighter than rosewood ( bollocks ) the only reason that would be the case is, cause the pickups were brighter anyway, I have to sets of texas specials on to strats, maple and rosewood, the R/W is brighter, nothing to do with the neck, it is just them pups seem to have a tad more output, in fact it is the brightest strat I have
●pickups react to stings ( which are magnetic ) and this is amplifies though your amp, the bridge is also a factor in your tone as it affects the signal, all this has been proven in lab conditions, I had a friend who put a set of texas specials and a strat bridge on a blank of wood, guess what, it sounded just like a strat, leo fender used to test his pickups on a test bed, which was a blank of 2be4, u think he would do that if it did not give him accurate sound of end result
●if U beleave all that rosewood sounds different to maple crap, then rosewood would be much nicer for blues over maple, as it would have a slightly darker tone, seen as as strat is so bright anyway, the rosewood would round the tone off making perfect for blues tones, not that I bealeve that anyway, cause I don't, your pickups in your guitar do not respond to what wood is on the guitar, & it is not acoustic, so their is no danger of the sound being amplified their, so that concludes
●Whats your pickup height adjustment? great playing by the way
●i personally like rosewood necks for blues. for example john mayer's sound
●I find that lace sensor pickups are great for clean anything and leads, but are too flubby for rhythyms.
●Great demo, cool guitar. *Check my strat demo.
●are they alnico V? also would these be great for hendrix/frusciante purposes with a little bit of distorsion? thanks for answering
●you think i can play some classic rock with this pickups?? like zeppelin maybe?
●Really nice bluesy licks. Those pick-ups have the sound of hot Texas specials.
●You demo'ed the neck pup for 4 minutes (4:10) and then you switched to the bridge/middle, but you didn't demo the bridge alone. The bridge pup is used by many katz to pounce into screaming solos, and a demo of that single pup would have been helpful.

●AND ALSO HE IS NOT A PILIPINO
●i think hes good
●Oh god WHY must Asian guitarist play 100 times faster then need be on EVERY style of music??? Repeat after me: "SHREDDING" DOES NOT EQUAL TALENT!!!!! Dude stick to Shred Metal guitar cause you can't play any other style music for SHIT!
●wow i think thats the first time Ive seen an asian suck so bad!
●because he's asian. haha
●whatever chatreeo can outplay ANY of you any day of the week....and you know it.
●it is thai
●def not Korean
●that isn't korean he's speaking.
●hes korean. Thats how they do things.
●Accelerated video, or "Red Bulled" guy ?
●to much coffee...
●He uses the vintage noiseless NOW, but did a lot with the sensors. You can pick either. But I believe the golds have recieved better reviews, and are brighter and cleaner. The vintage noiseless have more midrange I believe and sound more "humbuckery". All in all i'd say the vintage noiseless are a more versatile set if you like to play modern and vintage styles. If you want a hum free classic tone then get the sensors. If youre a vintage purist, get can duncan ssl-1s, but they do hum.
●Great chops... but way too busy.
●Hello , Can you tell me , What pickups are the best between the lace sensor and the vintage noiseless for a Clapton sound ?
●thats why his playing sounds like a 10 dollar whore getting nailed by a United states marine!.
●Sorry to disappoint you but, yeah, you are actually racist. It's only yourself you're fooling.
●Nice to know that the internet is full of racist pricks. Not everybody speaks English, geniuses. Nice demo, chatreeo.
●great job
●@powerNEEDcontrol hey racist, this guy is not chinese, he's thai
●learn a real language you piece of shit... what the fuck!!!!!
●He can't nots plays fast. It's too hard for him. Dildos playing agains.
●Its called sweet and sour duck
●If anyone wants to check out a demo of the Clapton Artist Series "Blackie" Strat--which is nearly identical to this one (Signature Limited Edition), including the Alder Body, unique V-shape neck, Fender Noiseless Pickups, Single Tone Knob and +25dB mid boost, but $1600, not $3000--check out the demo on my channel. I did a fairly nice job showing the wide range of sounds achievable to show that the Artist Series edition gives the Signature a run for its money. /watch?v=8sgpUU01oGI

●I hope the kitty doesn't get electrocuted.

●G and L make the best Teles and strats.
●I had the black on white on black look, gotta admit it does look sweet!! nice vid.
●how much does the cat affect your tone and where might I find one of those
●Ha HA HA. Man you ll laugh too once you learn to play and look back on this video. "Man did I suck" is what you ll be thinking...
●I play a 74 USATele with red Lace Sensor in bridge. i love it!
●I thought this sounded like something Corgan would play, then I read your comment, awesome guitar btw! Used to have the same pickup in the same bridge position, favorite pickup of all time by far.
●there aeroplane flies high turns left looks right
●did you steal your voice from david cross
●This guitar now has Black Grover tuners & a black bridge and all other hardware is also black, looks wicked! The shitty lead parts were just made up slop as an attempt to showcase single notes in the higher range but the main riff is The Aeroplane Files High by The Smashing Pumpkins.
●Thanks. Thats a really nice guitar. Are You playing an actual song there or is it just a made up riff?
●I'm playing the Bridge pickup (RED LACE SENSOR) and I'm using the distortion on the OD2 channel of my MM4.
●What are your settings at 3:27?
●I really out to post some video of the SG Special too. Not to brag too much but it is radical. I also cut a custom diamond plate pick guard for it. It's really starting to sound good too because it's a 93 and it's starting to age.
●...And I always thought the MIM Strats sounded hotter than the American made ones. They are fine guitars.
●I have a black SG Standard and a Black SG Special. They are both great guitars. I have Zakk Wylde EMGs in the Special and I switched the tuners to the tulip shaped Grovers. The standard I will leave stock. I love them both!
●Yeah, I really like my Gibson SG. I'd really like to get a yellow Strat, sounds radical!
●Very cool guitar you have here. I have always been a Gibson guy, but my son gave me a Squire Strat a few months back. I have completely re-done the electrics and even put in a push button kill switch. Mine is yellow with a white pick guard. I have all black hardware on it with a Gibson PAF in the bridge. I have Ibanez singles coils in the middle and neck right now but I will change those soon. It's a cheap guitar but It's now one of my favorites. The black looks nice on the Strats I think.
●Thanks.
●I play each pickup, I start with the red, then silver then the blue. Blue starts around 5:05
●When are you using the Blue Sensor?
●You prefer creamy mexicans eh....nice.
●I knew u probably wouldn't understand that logo but. Ford came out with the mustang, Well. Fender also has a mustang right? lol. Take care my friend. Jerald
●YES! Sounds awesome, not sure what the Ford logo is all about though. I have upgraded this guitar more since this video, I also now have black Grover tuners, black bridge, black jack plate. One of a kind indeed.

●Nobody ever pays retail or "list" price when it comes to guitars. When you see the retail price on a production model guitar, you can figure that it will sell for 20% or more off that price. I've seen these on various websites for the $550 t0 $580 range. Look to spend a little more for a case or gig bag.
●why is it that in the about this video section it says "Gil's requirements were straightforward: build a unique looking, extremely versatile guitar that is gig-ready right out of the box, and sells for under $600." but at reverendguitars dot com its listed at 785???
●nice

I compared BOSS GT-100 with POD HD in several preset crunch sounds and am using Fender USA Eric Clapton Strat and Tele Deluxe for it. Then, I collected preset sounds with a similar tone about it. I co
●No problem, and thanks! Greetings from the US!
●Thank you sir. You are an excellent guitar player. Keep making these awesome videos! Greetings from Canada.
●Thank you for watching! Haha This is a tough choice, indeed. :-))) I usually use POD in PC recording. And I use BOSS in the gigs. It's from operability and functionality mainly. So, maybe, I can make my favorite sounds either way. Sorry, my poor English. Greetings from Japan.
●Thank you for watching! Greetings from Japan.
●Thank you for watching and nice words! This is just a few samples of preset sounds. I cannot yet grasp all those functions and sounds. However, in the test of the crunch sound using the analog mixer, I feel that POD HD had a sound that was more realistic than GT-100. But, I think that we'll be able to make those POD's sounds by GT-100 probably, :-) BTW, Your Digitech RP1000 demos are really helpful! Keep up the fantastic work! Greetings from Japan. Kauchi
●Hi! Thank you for watching and your comment! BTW, Your Ibanez Tone Blaster Xtreme demos are nice one! Keep up the fantastic work! Greetings from Japan.
●the "both products are wonderful" speech aside :D , if u should choose between one of those, which one would it be?
●oo'
●Great demo! The BOSS unit sounded ok (it's a good improvement over previous GT's) but the PodHD really sounds killer here.
●I'm hearing way more clarity in the HD...the GT-100 sounds great, but I'd go with the POD any day
●Hi! Thank you for watching! Greetings from Japan. :-)
●Thank you for watching! Yeah! Both are wonderful products. Previously, to get such drive sounds, the loud sound of the amps were necessary. It's getting more convenient these days. :-) Take care, Kauchi
●Hi! Thank you for watching! Greetings from Japan :-) Kauch

●Thank you for watching! Yep! You are right. Greetings from Japan. Kauchi.
●Hi! Thank you for watching! I'm thankful to you for your friendship. You have a lot of great gear! Yes. But, GR-55 has the COSM amplifiers and the effects of the GT-10 class. GT-100 is more realistic sound a little. Greetings from Japan. Kauchi.
●Thank you for watching!
●Thank you for watching! Greetings from Japan. Kauchi.
●Thank you for watching! You got a good point. It's just like a bean. :-) This is a desktop model. Greetings from Japan. Kauchi.
●Thank you for watching! Greetings from Japan. Kauchi.
●Thank you for watching, And thank you for kind remark! I'm enjoying the sound of both wonderful products. :-) Have a great weekend!
●I have owned the Line 6 POD HD, the HD 500, and the HD PRO. I traded them all in and now have the GT 100. The GT 100 sounds waaaayyy better through an amp, and sounds great for direct recording and through a PA. I prefer the Boss. The sounds are better. This video doesn't do them justice, cuz it's just the presets.
●I think Boss makes some of the best single and multi effects around. I've tried to do line 6,b I just didn't like the sound of their effects. They seem to sound a bit on the thin side to me. Remeber, when choosing any single or multi effect,it all comes down to what YOU require in the effects
●What great demos. Does the GT have a vintage dual rec lead tone like the Roland GR-55? thanks.

this is the lace sensor dually pickup, this is more of a humbucker/two single coil hybrid than a traditional humbucker, but it still sounds great
●can't wait to hear how it sounds
●k ... ive got one ... just wanted an opinion before i installed it ... ill tell you how it is once i get my guitar going
●i haven't tried that one yet
●have you tried the emerald purple? ... if so how is that one
●to me it is a very balanced pickup
●how does the pickup sound without the bass turned up?
●skip forward to 4:08
●Got bored after 1 :30. Is ther any guitare in this or is it just waffle waffle waffle? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
●this was brutal. I am glad i finally fast forwarded to the end, because the quality of the sound especially you're voice. but I don't know, it sounds like you're playing through a solid state amp. Really cant tell a lick of difference between this pickup and any other pickup on the market. A for effort, but C+ for over all performance.
●DUDE!!!!! FELLOW LEFTY! ROCK ON MAN
●Well the review is appreciated but I got more from the talk than the actual demo. I wish the eq. was better. The description which I trust is accurate will have to do.
●background is just annoying!! i wanna hear the dude!
●I gotta agree with you. The Lace Sensors especially the red one have always given a very controlled yet refined distortion that Duncans and Dimarzios are missing. The latter may be better for super death metal but if you love to play lead, holy shit! The Lace Sensors are the way to go. I currently have the Noiseless pickups in my Deluxe Players Strat but will be adding the (red) Lace Sensor in the bridge. I think that mixed with the Noiseless will make it a heavenly lead guitar and still crunch!
●ROCK then talk oh and thanks for the CLEAN SOUNDS.
●ROCK then talk
●Hey I have the exact same guitar and I'm a lefty too! What pickups do you recommend? I'm thinking about getting the DiMarzio Breed for the bridge. For the neck, I'm not so sure. Do you have any advice.
●whats it sound like without distortion
●nobody can take this seriously with that music in the background-checkin' out
●what?
●Oh really? I don't Vai very much...and it's not the quality it's just that the music gets in the way of the words. It's supossed to be a background thing...just don't put such great music as a background xD When you mix things for musicians it's an internal fight between: "damn i really want people to listen to the music" and "I need to be heard in this" Anyways...
●sorry for the sound quality and no the background music is vai
●can't hear shit of what you are saying. And i like to think that maybe...JUST maybe the backing track is the sound of the guitar after the dually.
●@caulinrocker dually is in the bridge position, the other pickups are stock ibanez v series pickups
●@caulinrocker well that is true, and false, actually the bass response of the amp was dialed in pretty thick, but the camcorder added a little to the tone, not as much as you think but a little
●If you look up the guitar that Johnny Greenwood used I believe that he had a Telecaster Plus, a telecaster with lace sensor in neck and a dual in the bridge.
